A recent visit to Tokyo in December gave me the chance to soak in the gentle warmth of winter sunshine, wander through beautifully manicured Japanese gardens, and lose myself in the quiet laneways that make the city feel both intimate and endlessly surprising. And of course, the majestic Mt Fuji—its snow‑covered peak impossible to miss—revealed itself from so many different vantage points, each more breathtaking than the last.
